Lots of internet chatter that Zach Davies will be the return in trade. He's the Orioles #3 prospect, but before you get too excited, he'll probably rank 14-15 here as their system is horrendous.

@Ken_Rosenthal: Sources: #Orioles talking about getting both #Brewers’ Parra and #Phillies’ Revere and sending reliever Tommy Hunter to #Cubs.

Says Davies likes headed to Brewers for Parra. No word on Phils return but could get prospect from Cubs.

Going to guess it will be a 6'4" 230 lbs. AA or AAA RH pitcher with a chance to be a #3-#5 starter but also could end up in bullpen.

Feels like there should be a Ben Revere trade thread with a witty title somewhere?

There is one other twist that makes poring closely over contract language a real task in this deal. The Rangers are believed to be transferring the insurance policy they hold on Harrison’s back to Philadelphia. That involves a third party outside of MLB’s purview. The policy called for the Rangers to receive 75 percent of Harrison’s salary (after he was out a certain number of days) as part of their claim.

Good to know about insurance on Harrison. I was wondering if that contract was insured and if the Phillies could benefit from it.

Yeah I figured there might be something like that going on. Makes that deal even better. I'd love to know the terms of the coverage.

This is going to be a strange offseason. They were able to dump a lot of money at the deadline. I wonder if they plan on going after some big name FA's now.

Heyward and Price. Let's crank this shit up for 2017.

Price-Harrison-Nola-somebody-Morgan isn't a bad rotation IF Harrison can stay healthy. Hernandez-Heyward-Franco is a nice top of the order. I don't think that team is a contender in 2016, but they'd make a substantial jump. It wouldn't be far off from the 2011 Nats (first season with Werth), just without a prospect the caliber of Bryce Harper or Strasburg.
