I think the best we can hope for is a gamble. I'd like one of those high ceiling but lower level guys that projects.

Plus I'm hoping this deal opens a spot for Altherrrrrrr

With the money we'll have off the books next season our committed payroll for 2016 is $66MM. Add in about another $10MM for arbitration and the Phils have a ton of money they could spend on FA's in the off-season if they want. I'm not saying they will or they should but, if they chose to do so, they could easily sign 3 (or perhaps even 4) of Price, Greinke, Cueto, Zimmermann, Samardzija, Heyward and/or Upton.
