the rumor was it goes to the team with the worst record from the previous season. that is a lot of nonsense though. no way teams that are good will agree to that.

At what point is $225MM in guaranteed money not enough? Smh it's kind of disgusting and irrational...and yes I realize the market dictates this because there is such a minuscule percentage of the world population that has the ability to play at an All-Star level...still though

Well, I think we'd all hesitate to take the $225MM if you had to play baseball in rainy conditions. Not an easy decision to make.
