I think this is the one. I'm pretty sure his problems with the knee had to do with his trying to rush back. If you remember, Amare Stoudemire had similar issues, but seems to be alright. Either way, it's a gamble, but with our current situation and the free agent market, I'd take the chance all day.

Phils fans from Bryn Mawr competing for a $5000 Rite Aid gift card on Ellen's show last week. They were given $100 for personal makeovers using only stuff found in that Rite Aid. The fake Phanatic with the Vuk jersey is interesting...

Zolecki says Rollins wants a five-year deal. Adios, Jimmy.

Jimmy said at this time last year the Phils had pretty much already rebuffed Werth, which hasn't happened with him. And that he'd sign here without talking to anyone else if he got the right offer.

Yeah, my guess is that he realistically expects 4 years while the Phillies would like 3.

Yep, remember that Jimmy is a businessman. I think a lot of what he says is coming from that angle. It would be bad business to say he wants to stay with the Phils at any cost or things like that.

it's like, you know, i like small balls, but, like, you know, at the same time, most people like big balls, because, at the same time, you score more with big balls

Does this mean we won't try to take walks because they'll swing at 1st pitch strikes? Or that they shouldn't stubbornly stick with that mindset all game and make adjustments on the fly?

Why does this sound so easy
