Stark just tweeted that Oswalt thinks he can pitch another 3-4-5 years.

That whole day-before-start warmup routine that he just discovered must have Oswalt pumped.

So if our starting 8 were all free agents, all but one would be Type A.

A fun story on our smug overlord, including the rarely told Total Package story.

omfg lol

On a team flight during his rookie year in Philadelphia, a single Amaro fancied the stewardess and tried to see whether he could arrange a date. He wrote a flirtatious note that included the phrase "I'm the total package," and he leaned over to give her the piece of paper.

What's even better about this is that anytime Harry introduced him at an event or something, he always intro'd him as "The Total Package Ruben Amaro!"

Just pure gold.

Sometimes it feels like we are due for a Worley or Kendrick start, and then it hits me...

Didnt realize that Cameron picked Roy as his NL Cy Young. And his NL MVP.
I know what you're asking yourself and the answer is yes. I have a nick name for my penis. Its called the Octagon, but I also nick named my testes - my left one is James Westfall and my right one is Doctor Kenneth Noisewater.

In terms of one at bat WPA in the playoffs during tied games, the top three are all Phillies players. There is another Phillies player in the top 10. Guess who they are!

There is also a current Phillies player who had an at bat with the 4th lowest WPA (4th most negative) in the playoffs during a tied game. Guess who it is!

I forgot to add that I was just doing pinch hitters. I was trying to answer the question about the number of 0-0 pinch hit HRs. BR only gives relative score, so I got all of the tie game pinch hitting appearances in the playoffs.

Francisco's was #2. Stairs #3.

No on Vic and Trillo. I don't think they were on the list as pinch hitters.
