Final ESPN Power Rankings...

30. Houston Astros (56-106; Previous: 30) – First overall draft pick brings stark decisions for Astros: pitcher or position player? High school or college? And, in seven years, what will be Phillies’ greatest area of need?

I'm sure it's too small a samle size to verify but it just appears as though he looks to make contact batting 2nd vs. a different approach at #3.

I want to catch a glimpse of Larry Andersen (fuck you TMac).

I hope I get a Rally Towel so I can fire up the office.

I hope we win.

This is by far the most wonderful time of the year.

Spring is great, and has always been great, because I live a stones throw from BHNF and the team, and can get tickets whenever and whereever I want . . . but over the past 5 years, we've all experienced something that no other Phillies phan has ever experienced -- the consistent rush of the playoffs.

It's great. It's a great feeling. And with this pitching staff. . . it's gonna be a great playoff season.

Growing up, October used to be my least favorite month of the year because it meant no more Phillies. No matter how bad the team was, they were at least there every day and I'd always go into a little funk not having them to watch or listen to. And now, October is just awesome

Murphy...

Lee/Halladay have started back-to-back 30 times and lost both games once. Once! And no single team has beaten them back-to-back in 20 tries

Not all that surprising. It seems a lot of MLB guys say that.
Teams lie, sometimes for good reasons, sometimes for bad. They do it to get an advantage while they look at the trade market or just because they can
