Cliff Lee is a Phillies!!! We did it!

Eskin "reads article from online about possible trade and repeats it on air"

"Giants looking at Sanchez?"

"Who else can get Halladay?"

"Angeles want Halladay right?"

"What about the Dodgers, they need pitching?"

"Giants need pitching cause of Johnson right?"

Remember when the best Lee we could get back in a trade was Travis Lee?

This is such an amazing time to be a Phillies fan. :-D

He's aware Halladay might still NOT be traded right? Why am I even asking? Of course he doesn't.

Howard Eskin doesn't even know who Knapp is.

Why does he keep talking?

Stark says he thinks Happ will go to the bulpen and Pedro will start. He's fucking nuts.
I know what you're asking yourself and the answer is yes. I have a nick name for my penis. Its called the Octagon, but I also nick named my testes - my left one is James Westfall and my right one is Doctor Kenneth Noisewater.

In essence, we got the reigning AL Cy Young winner and a useful RH bat off the bench for 4 prospects that Keith Law can't stand.

He is absolutely pathetic. Now prattling off a list of busts the Phillies have had over the past 40 years, and saying that's why Drabek, Happ, etc. should be traded.

Stark on 950........

-They were getting nowhere with Toronto.....if anything it was getting worse

-Deal was a slam dunk for the Phils to make

-No assurance they were ever going to get Halladay no matter how long they held out

-There was no indication whatsoever that the price from Toronto was coming down...........BJ's ownership actually started asking for more as the negotiations went on.........decision was taken out of the hands of the baseball people

-Jays absolutely wouldn't move off of Drabek and Brown

-Stark wanted Halladay, but when the alternative is this good, you have to make the deal

-Cleveland has money issues.......they needed to move money off the payroll. Cleveland liked Knapp more than anyone in the entire Phillies system. Stark said as he matures he could possibly throw 100+

-Most scouts like Donald and Marson as everyday players

-Stark thinks Halladay goes to the Sox if they offer Buchholz.

-STARK SAID THERE'S A REAL POSSIBILITY THAT RICCARDI COULD TRADE HALLADAY TO THE SOX, GET FIRED, THEN GO TO WORK FOR THE SOX

-Stark said Pedro is here to be a starter..........he said he thinks Happ is going to the bullpen.

-Putting Pedro in the pen is asking for trouble after they signed him to start

-Reiterates, FROM WHAT HE HEARD TODAY, HAPP IS GOING TO THE BULLPEN when Pedro is ready

Happ's probably better from the pen than any bullpen help we could get for him.

Depends what is out there.

I'd take Heath Bell for Happ, tbh
