You really can't believe anything the Phils say. The party line is they like him, but that may be because there's no way they're going to eat his contract. We'll see what happens in 3 years.

I think Dutch admitted later that night that his eyes have gotten so bad he couldn't tell what was happening on the monitor.

Oh, if only I had the guts and the money to print this on a banner and fly it over Citizens Bank Park today and for the remainder of the season....

Has anyone noticed how unexcited he's sounded regarding the good things the Yankees have done this series?
Guess he must hate the Skanks more than the Phils. It's refreshing though, even if I know it won't last beyond this series.

Did anyone catch L.A.'s "Get off my lawn" style rant about pitch counts and "babying" young pitchers last night?

Now T-Mac has replaced Harry in the Super Pretzel commercial, and is doing a commercial for Winner Ford. Can't get away from this guy.

Those who "don't mind" McCarthy are either liars or don't have good enough ears to hear him.

Losing to the Pirates in such a tedious way is unbearable, like watching the tide come in as you're buried up to you neck in sand. Listening to TMac while it happens is just an irritation, like realizing, oh yeah, your butt itches too.
