METS AND YANKEES ON JIMMY'S HIT LIST:

Its plain and simple. Jimmy Rollins is jealous that hes not a Met or Yankee. People that have such anger and hatred toward a group, many times are envious of that group or groups that they hate so much. So as a New Yorker [born and raised], it is flattering to me. I like the attention Rollins is giving .

well keep shooting your mouth off rollins..your just another low life phillie from the city of people with green teeth(hey are there any dentist there)...anyway now he not only is trying to pi$$ off the mets he is going after the yankees...thats a joke the phillies beating the yankees.. the yankee pitching is light years ahead of the phillies probably one of the best in baseball and im a met fan I dont often give the yankees credit.. anyway rollins I bet when your contract is up and jeter retires or moves to 3rd when rodriguez self distructs you will be looking to the bronx for that big pay check only new york can give you..you will be eating those words what an a$$hole...why dont you donate some money to some philladelphia dental school..lol

The Mets have shut down Tim Redding indefinitely due to a lack of shoulder strength.

That should take him out of the running for the club's fifth rotation spot. Mets GM Omar Minaya said Redding isn't injured, but simply needs to build up more strength. He's posted a dreadful 40.50 ERA in two starts this spring.

Thats a shame

Apparently... someone dropped out of school right after they taught ellipses... but prior to when they taught all the other punctuation... lol..

What's hilarious is that most (all?) of the comments are from Mets fans. Apparently, Yankees fans have a high enough level of reading comprehension to realize it's actually a complement (to both teams). That flew right over the heads of Mets fans. Of course, Yankees fans might be too sophisticated to read the Post.

Bill Burr is hilarious. I watched his Comedy Central special the other night.

I don't know where that stereotype came from. I've heard it a few times before but only on the Interwebs. I would think you'd find bad teeth at the same level pretty much anywhere in this country. I don't think NY has an overabundance of dentists and I don't think they emphasize dental hygiene any more than anyone else.

^ Thought way too hard about that.

The worst of Mets fans think the same thing about Cole Hamels. This is bad for karma, people.

Karma is REAL people!

OK, maybe it isn't, but seriously, the people who were cheering Santana's injury were just asking for it (and actually, it shoul be noted, TV's comment was far from the most obnoxious - it's just the one to which I happened to originally reply.

You know metsrefugees and other such outlets will explode with joy when they get the news, and the same people here who were originally "hoping" for Santana to be out for awhile will have the stones to call them classless.
