Not sure if you heard it today, but Hamels was on the FAN throwing some serious shade on the Mets.
First of all, he has the audacity to come on New York radio to hawk the Phillies' World Series DVD. And then he follows the Jimmy Rollins' script by taking another shot at Jose Reyes. Finally, with some prodding from Evan Roberts and Joe Benigno, Hamels calls the entire Mets team chokers, adding all the Phillies think the Mets are chokers and that their opinion won't change until the Mets win actually something. Of course he's right, but the fact that he says this on New York radio shows the lack of respect the Phillies have for the Mets.
I think Omar Minaya should make the interview required listening for every member of the 2008 Mets.
He should also make every Met listen to the just-concluded Darryl Strawberry spot on the FAN. The link isn't up yet, but when it is, you check it out. It will have you salivating for the first meeting with the Phillies.

“That’s sad… If we had a team say that about us – oh, no – they were gonna be in trouble… I mean, it would definitely be hard if, in the days us playing, if somebody said that, I mean, we’d have stuck one right in his neck. We’d be fighting. There’s no way any one would be allowed to disrespect us like that, and that is what has happened to the Phillies.”
