Though I must say, "METS LEGIONS" has fine avatar taste.

the line to Yankees Claus was too long?
Spring training is still a couple of months away, but the World Champion Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets are already trading sniper fire. All-world lefty Cole Hamels got it started last week, calling the Mets ‘choke artists’ for the way they threw up on themselves at the end of the last two seasons.
Mets pitcher John Maine didn’t like being called a choker and fired back, quote: “I don’t care, but I just don’t get it. At the end of the year, they won the World Series. Congratulations! Let’s focus on the things they accomplished. Don’t worry about what’s going on here in New York. I mean, I don’t get it.”
What’s not to get, John? An interviewer asked him if he thought you were ‘choke artists’, and he said yes…and he’s right. Dead on. The gospel truth. Giving back 7 games with 17 to play and then coming from ahead to tank again the following September doesn’t make you clutch. You flamed miserably two years in a row when it mattered most and you need to wear that.
Hamels, on the other hand shows up like a combination of Sandy Koufax and Steve Carlton, put his team on his back and leads them to their first world title in many years. He can say whatever he wants…and he’s right to say you’re ‘choke artists’. Back away from Cole Hamels…he owns you, he owns a ring and what he said was true.
SJK: The Mets have gone bullpen shopping, adding J.J. Putz, Francisco Rodriguez, and Sean Green. How much of an impact will these additions have on the Mets' chances in the NL East?
RN: The Mets didn't need to get a lot better this winter. They needed to get just a little better, specifically in the bullpen, and obviously they've done that. They still could use a left-hander (and for that matter a left fielder), but at this moment the Mets are the best team in the East. And as these things go, I'm not even sure it's all that close.
