They're worried that he is too lazy and fat.

They have a lot of political threads over there. I guess talking about politics is a lot more fun than talking about the Mets.

I'm very disappointed in all the threads with responses over there. They should go back to one thread for one thought.

i already do. i'm gleepglop.
if you don't know what the wrestlers are trying to do--how certain moves and holds are supposed to work and so forth, then it might just look like too sweaty guys rolling around on a mat.

Oh. I'm replying to a Steagles post. Um. OK.

He's showing his age. A bit older, and at least 2 of those five would have been the braves.

I think I only really hated them that one season in 2003 when everyone including themselves described them as underdogs against the big bad phillies. Mike Lowell was coming out with some crap about 'no one expected us to do well or something but here we are' and I thought that the supposedly scrappy nature of the team was manufactured bullshit. The fans I have no respect for, but the players I'm usually okay with.

Why are they trying to remodel Maine's delivery? WTF is up with that guy anyway? During the first half of 2007 everybody thought he was an all-star, although I don't think he ever had much of a pedigree coming over from Baltimore.

I also think they might be putting too much faith in Pelfrey based on one season. He could be nothing more than Kendrick with more velocity.

The Angels are lucky if they win 86 games this year.

Isn't like 60 percent of their starting rotation going to begin the year on the DL -- Lackey; Escobar and Santana? Is that right? Cripes, they play in my local Mariner's division --- I should know this stuff.

Scioscia = genius so there's that.

nah. I think people are underestimating Oakland. And Texas has the best offense in the division. If they get any contribution from some of their promising young arms, they could be in the running. I think Texas, Oakland and LA are 82-87 win teams, Seattle is a 75 win team.
