I meant songs where Ringo was the lead singer.
You're the conductor Ruben. Time to blow the whistle!

while I wouldn't call Ringo's Ringo a lost classic or anything, it's a really fun listen

But yes, All Things Must Pass is probably one of my top five favorite albums.

Whoa. I haven't heard that in a billion years. In fact, I think I forgot it existed. There was a heavy Beatles/Dylan/Wonder rotation in my house.

They were only together for about a decade, but they cranked out more quality music than most bands or singers can in a lifetime. What really amazes me is that they were releasing multiple albums a year(and not just throwaway stuff, their greatest work), when a lot of bands are lucky to get one out in year.

In my top 7. Somehow it's easier for me to make a top seven than a top ten.

i don't know how anyone can say they're not the best band in history. i love the stones too, but come on, this stuff is as timeless as timeless can be. and there's just so much of it.

I have an excoworker (who is a major contrarian) who claims that if Brian Wilson had released smile in the 60s the beatles would have quit music, and that post the early stuff they were basically terrible/completely reliant on their production.

The sad thing is she isn't an idiot about music, has a great ear, her dad plays contrabass in the philadelphia orchestra.

we did a poll once and at least four people other than me voted Stones. we're like Ron Paul voters or something.

I was thinking about it the other day; I think I actually actively put on Stones albums way more often than Beatles ones, but I just have a more emotional response to the Beatles' stuff.
