I enjoyed the BS Report with Larry David

Grantland did a pretty good "Serial" breakdown with Klosterman as well

Dan Carlin managed to get the 5th part of Hardcore History out in 2014. Listened to an hour and a half so far and it's definitely less bleak than the last one. What I heard was centering around Wilson and the US entering WWI and Czar Nicholas and Rasputin.

Understandable. You've only had since August.

Haha. When I was in training it was easier to zone out and give the podcast the attention I want to give it. I tried to do it now that I'm a "regular" worker and I feel like I'm missing too much.

talks about it at top of today's show. basically, she's a good but not great sidekick and after four years it still wasn't working.

Four years, wow

The real problem is his guests, imo. Guessing the Fox News talking headery didn't help there

the problem is adam. he goes on rants, same as ever, but they're unfunny. i stopped listening to that podcast a while ago. i still listen to alison's, though.

Does not shock me at all. Cororlla A.) is an asshole, at least he comes off that way IMO, and B.) is pretty damn unfunny. Reading one of his books is like reading through what asshole jocks did in their teenage years, except it's supposed to come off as the funniest thing ever. It doesn't.

Start Up is pretty good. It's documents Alex Bloomburg, who was on TAL and Planet Money (a really good economics podcast), as he tries to start a Podcast broadcasting company. Him fumbling through an elevator pitch of his idea to top Silicon Valley VCs is one of the more excruciating things I've heard since Mikey in Swingers leaves the answering machine messages.
