I'm looking for some new stuff to listen to as well. I'm not into This American Life and all the storytelling ones, I find them to be kind of grating. I tried Stuff You Should Know or How It Works or whatever, but it seems too leisurely for me. I liked the premise anyway.

If you like interview style, check out the Bryan Callen Show. He's an actor comedian but gets lots of off-the-beaten-path non-fiction and academic type book authors on the show. You'll learn lots of random quasi-important shit
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

Gr - I think you'd like Jordan Jesse Go. It's a comedy podcast.

Reply All is a newish podcast that focuses on the internet. Yeah, a podcast about the internet--it's for real white people. Somehow it's really interesting, and each episode is only like 20 minutes. Some of my favorite eps have been one where they interviewed Jenni from Jennicam (remember that ish?), talked to the poor dickhead who invented the pop up ad, and did a whole episode about how Yik Yak has shown the crazy racism at Colgate College.

Do you mean this as, "That's correct, white people. This is a thing that exists."

Or more of a, "You must be this white to ride this ride."

Asking for a friend.

Yeah I listened to a few eps last week. It was solid. It's definitely "This American Life: The Internet," which isn't a bad thing.

I really want to like it, but I think this is another example of the hosts ruining it for me. Hoping they hit their stride over the next few months. Their screaming from the rooftops about not needing eyes to see made me want to never listen again.

I do enjoy Ask Me Another, an NPR podcast that's essentially a game show. Some of the puzzles are super easy, and it's not as good as Wait Wait, but it's a good thing to listen to while you're driving.
The "house band" is Jonathan Coulton, who was the "Thing a Week" dude a few years ago. I remember the Zombie song.

I like Ask Me Another more than Wait Wait. I like Wits even more though.

I've started listening to You Made it Weird. Pete Holmes' needy, over the top enthusiasm is hitting the right buttons lately.

Bill Simmons and Rembert Browne discussing the latter's experience on Air Force One was completely insufferable, a must listen
