it's a bit repetitive but Topics with Michaels Ian Black and Showalter parodying pretentious academic types is pretty great. also enjoying Witness and Rex Factor lately

Ace is making money hand over fist from his podcasts
700K plus just from Amazon clicks. why would anyone give Carolla their amazon clickage? BSG NEEDS IT

These are, of course, self-reported numbers. Still.

Very enjoyable BS Report with Klosterman (save BS' dumb interjections) spanning the NFL draft, TV, music, etc

world war 1 finale left me very meh. his post script covered the flaws in doing something this big and so recent. never really thought about how much reading he has to do to make a 30 hour podcast. i'm guessing he probably read well over 100 hours of books to condense it down to those 6 parts and they still came up very short. didn't really bring up a single thing about america at all. the way part 5 left off i thought this was going to be a very american centric podcast and it definitely was not. didn't really dive into details about treaties. he kinda rambled all over the place about stuff that wasn't all that important.

four and a half hours!! you kids are crazy. I started listening and so far it is good but kinda crazy amount of time to dedicate.

also downloaded WTF and Joe Rogan. It's like 70% commercials in the first 15 minutes. I get they have to pay the bills but jeez.

Yeah. Deadspin had a report that ESPN and Simmons have come to an agreement that he will not be producing any more content for them. So that is that.

getting a new office at the beginning of the year paired me with a pal who listens to The Morning Stream, and now I pretty much look forward to it every day. Am I late to the party on this?

I have a 45 to an hour drive each way everyday. I go through these things in like 2 days. Too hard to pay attention to at work though
