It was returned to the store because they changed their mind and decided they wanted the LTE version instead. As far as I can tell they never even really fully set it up, it was still on ios 5.xx when I turned it on. Sweet. Then I went to the apple store and got a warranty repalcement for my iphone. Still waiting on all my stuff to download back to my iphone, with the hotel's shitty wifi I only got through a few apps even over night. The ipad though I can't download anything to becuase it says I'm over my device max, and apparently the only way to fix that is to go on a computer with itunes and deactivate my old iphone and or ipad that I'm no longer using. So that's dumb.

Got back to my hotel last night and my new ipad figured itself out or something. All my shit was loaded when I got back. Apple, it just works!

Hopefully this can do what physical therapy and muscle relaxers could not.

This has spent most of the last 1.5 years in my closet, so... no. "Total Coverage" is a misnomer. Now I'm saving up for one of those $10 grand massage chairs.

if your condition is more medical than just relaxation/pleasure, you should look into purchasing a tens unit. it kind of sucks to set up, but it has taken out a kink in my neck more than once and i use it as part of therapy on my knees after a long day on the court or mountain.

Sold my almost two year old 16gb iPad 2 on eBay for $320. Kinda can't believe that. I listed it as an auction starting at $200 and but a bin on for $320 and it sold within like 3 hours.

BECAUSE IT'S GOT A RETINA DISPLAY!!!!! Are you sorry you put the BIN so low ??

My new Samsung Tab will be here in an hour or so. The Sony is on ebay. Started it low ($130) with a BIN of $250. After 2 days, no bids but 9 watchers, so I'm confident it will sell.

I thought retina display didn't start until the 3rd gen iPad.

Nah, I watched a bunch of auctions before I listed. For similar packages to mine I had them going for 300 to 320, nothing over that, so I was hoping that I'd get that. Also no retina on the iPad 2 :)

Wow. this new Galaxy Tab 2 is SO much better than my Sony it is remarkable. The screen is AMAZING. Their Pyle "Smart Remote" app is even head and shoulders above the Sony app. It even downloads TV listings, so you just scroll through the listings and punch it up and it will change the channel. I was thinking it was wasted on me since I hardly watch TV except for the Phillies, but in fact it probably helps someone like me even more, because I don't know where the channels are.

Now something that would work on the Sony too...I just discovered the Xfinity TV app. It also gives the TV listings as well as the on-demand stuff, so you can pick what you want and your TV will dial it up (it does this via a digital signal from the Home Office, not via RF, so you don't event have to be in the same room). Figures I found it on episode #10 (of 10) of "The Staircase". The first 9 I mostly struggled with the Comcast remote trying to search for the listing and the proper show and finally would pull it up. Would've saved me a lot of aggravation. And it doesn't make the Smart Remote I just talked about obsolete either- the xfinity app only works on the xfinity digital boxes- not the cheap DCAs.

Back to the tablet, the Wifi is superb. My sony would consistently drop signal in the living room. This thing gets 4 bars.

my phone and/or tablet startled me with a cash register sound. Thought WTF is that. But it was the ebay app- my auction ended and the item sold  . "Only" 200 beans. But the upgrade to the Samsung tab is well worth the 50 bucks.

Wow, it sure is easy nowadays to copy a physical DVD to a digital format. Last time I tried probably 3 years ago I spent a couple days and still couldn't find a good method. This time, 2 downloads, 1 reboot, and about 30 minutes and I'm rippin' away.

Handbrake. Had to install DVD43 to bypass (I steal stuff but it's mine) encryption. That's what required the reboot. From this point forward, I'll just have to start up handbrake and click start. Then Kies Air to transfer the mp4 to the tablet via wifi. I could just eject the microsd card and mount it on my PC, but it only took about 5 minutes to copy 7GB via wifi.

You could probably compress it a bit more. I get bluray sourced hd stuff down to between 2 and 4 gb and it still looks good on my tablet.

Tethercell

Basically you replace one AA battery in a battery-powered device (that uses more than one AA, I think) and you can turn that device on and off remotely via bluetooth (iOS and Android apps available. Sorry Moz).

Seems neat. Struggling to think of a good use case for me, though.
