Bucky, there are design houses that will do it for you. I have some vendors at work I can look into. Not sure on prices for that. I can even put it in 3d for you so you don't have to pay them to do it

oh man, that would be awesome. the blacksmith was plan A up right until Sunday. I figured a blacksmith would be pretty expensive. they're not very ornate at all. Basically a rod about 3/8" diameter, with a 90" bend near the end and another 1" which is the "hook" part. The other end is a a loop, sort of like an eyelet. the tougher part is the "hinge" part which attaches to the shutter and the long piece attaches to. I'll grab some pictures tomorrow.

How would you get it into 3D? Just from a few different angles of 2D pictures??

Yea, and so height, width, length dimensions. I can scale the rest easily. Especially if it's 3/8 rod. It would take like no time at all

great investment. my laptop speakers blow, this thing is perfect. sound is good enough for a medium size room. easy to set up.

would recommend.

Is 2 HDMI inputs enough for you?? Or are you committed to an external HDMI switch??

I wish TVs would come with like an 8 input external switchbox that works off the TV remote, so you can put all your gear into a cabinet and plug it into the switch and then just run one HDMI cable to the tv.

yeah, i know, i actually have one. But I have to find that crappy little remote (or get up)to switch it. My point being it should be part of the TV package and work with the "input" button on the TV remote.

Ahh, yeah. I'm not sure if they'd work with a Harmony, but I'd think so.

My older hd set only has one hdmi input, so I have an hdmi splitter hooked up to it, it doesn't have a remote or anything, just a button on the switcher itself, but it does auto switch. It works great switching when switching between the blu ray, dtv receiver and Xbox. The dtv box stays on, but if you turn on the Xbox or blu ray player it switches over and then when you shut it off, it switches back to the dtv reciever. The only device it gets messed up with is the Apple TV, I always have to manually hit the button to get the Apple TV to come up.
