This nonsense in Lancaster is going to do nothing but help Trump. The guy was literally chasing the cop with a knife. I guess you could say the cop could have continued running, but what if he tripped, like what happens in the movies when someone is chasing you with a knife.

Seems like the biggest mistake was the cop going by himself when there was a dangerous felon on parole involved in the domestic disturbance. But maybe he didn't know that.

It gets talked about a fair amount on politics Twitter, but feel like the difference in mode of voting and its impact on how we digest the results is still underdiscussed.

Regularly seeing like a 40% gap depending on the state in Biden/Trump vote by mail/early in person vs. vote in person on election day.

The counting of votes is going to be so fucking bizarre, varying from state to state, and it's gonna be a mess because the President is going to fan the flames and most of the media is too dumb to explain it.

This guy can't answer questions. He just goes back to his greatest hits regardless the topic.

29k votes total last time for the challenger, challenger is at 28k votes with some left to come in. Higher turnout/probably a lot of moderate Dems who really like Joe Biden.

Tough to knock off an incumbent who doesn't have a scandal connected to him. Though not breaking into 1/3rd of the vote means it was really uncompetitive.

Campaign thinks they'll hit close to 40k. But yeah Coons got a ton more than Carper.

I missed/skipped almost all of it, but I did happen to catch him barking "Up sold" at the woman who asked about his virus response then he devolved in how closing borders (sort of) helped (too late). That was plenty for me.

It was “up-played” in response to question about downplaying virus.
