Seems like Rasmussen has run their diagnostic test and all systems are now normal.

Twitter needs to up its game, it has a tiny little label on a video that Trump shared with Biden coming out to an 'anti-police anthem'. They need to tag it with a wrapper that says 'this is some bullshit'.

HHS/Roger Stone affiliate who was overseeing the manipulation of HHS and CDC data to fit the president's narrative is taking medical leave. I hope his health and soul recover while he writes his book.

Breaking via WSJ: A.G. Barr told federal prosecutors to be aggressive when charging violent demonstrators with crimes, including potentially prosecuting protesters for plotting to overthrow the U.S. government, people familiar with the conversation said.

Barr is a good little Nazi. He would have also been comfortable running Stalin’s show trials.

What motivates this douchebag? He will be dead within 10 years, so why do Trump’s bidding?

CDC director on the Hill pleading with American's to wear masks as the most effective tool citizen have to get control of things.

McEnany when asked about this divide between Wear a Mask VS Masks Bad says that Trumps agrees since he said 'masks have unintended consequences' is all about a waiter...

QuinnipiacPoll (likely voters)
Gideon (D) 54% Collins (R) 42% +12 in Maine
Harrison (D) 48% Graham (R) 48% even in South Carolina
McConnell (R) 53% McGrath (D) 41% + 12 in Kentucky

I don't understand public pollsters not releasing full demo info from their surveys. Great thanks for your party breaks (which tbh in Maine is actually not Dem enough, though way too Indy/not party defined). Please tell me age/gender/edu/race.

I also really don't understand not asking voter registration in states that have voter registration. It's literally the most important question/thing to know about a voter. How they feel is kind of irrelevant if you have something concrete to match to. You're missing out so badly, especially in a state like Kentucky where almost every voter is a member of a political party (same goes for PA polls).

If Trump's only up 6 in South Carolina I guess Graham might be potentially vulnerable, though still a big ask. Trump won by 14 in 2016, so 6 would be bad for him.

This may be a dumb question, but isn't is possible in these polls Trump supporters are lying to build up the fake news narrative?

Not systematically. And I do think at this point the "shy Trump voter" is pretty much not a thing. Indeed, I think it's just as likely that polls are doing everything they can to make the race look closer than it is because they don't want to be burned by overstating Biden's lead.

Oh I thought I read something from 538 about Trump voters lying as well as not wanting to admit they voted for him which screwed up the exit polls in 2016. Just figured that could easily carry over. Like my Brother In Law is a big Trump person and if he was asked who was voting for in a poll I wouldn't be surprised if he would say Biden so that he can use the Fake news narrative if Trump wins again. I think that is more likely to flip the other way this time. People “glad” to admit voting for trump.
On a scale of 1 to Chris Brown, how pissed is he?

I think that the summation of the silent majority is more like a vocal mob. There was a guy on what I assume to be a first and last date barking about masks and going on about being part of the silent majority. Clueless on every vector including me hearing him loud and clear across the room.

That Trump tweet instructing the Senate GOP to be more generous and send out a big check must be a really confusing thing to the Mitch mob. I like how it derides the Dems, then basically say for the GOP to support the Nancy plan.

the story of how Witzke went in just a few years from being a drug-dealing heroin addict to a QAnon-believing, racism-spewing, Flat Earth-believing nominee for federal office illustrates both the tumultuous politics of 2020 and the conspiracy theories and racist beliefs gaining traction in the GOP
