I'm kinda amazed that delaware hasn't gone more red over the past 12 years.

I don't know who Dr Scott Atlas is, but he was up on stage with Trump to refute the CDC director, fauchi, and Birxs. The vaccine is going to be here sooner than you understand because you haven't read the plan, they're ready to store the thing and distribute at -80° F so the freezers are in place, and all kinds of other crazy ass s***. It's only crazy because everybody else is saying something else. so I don't know who this guy is but I have to assume that he was put up there for his pro Trump stance and probably is something like a chiropractor.

Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution is probably all you need to know. I think he's a radiologist or something

The population density and composition of New Castle County will keep Delaware blue in perpetuity.

Radiologists are generally more politically conservative. Our screwy healthcare system has driven the price of x-rays through the roof relative to other countries, so radiologists have a vested interest in the status quo.

What exactly did he do to help?

He did everything he could to turn the virus into a clusterfuck, acted obtuse about the loss of jobs as if the only thing that matters is the market, and then increased racial tensions that forced several sports leagues into a temporary shutdown to support protests. Finally, he stood back and made a couple tweets trying to pressure Big Ten officials into doing what they already wanted to do.

You know, everything. He has saved Big Ten football.

Trump also said that the CDC director was clearly misunderstanding the questions when he was not understanding the questions being asked of him. He clearly didn't understand the question about masks. He doesn't understand when a viable vaccine candidate will be available. So on and so on.

Redford tweeted a clarification that said nothing to suggest he misspoke. Said masks are important and that he supports vaccines.

Guessing he’s tired of the trump bullshit and didn’t bend completely over and is hoping he can find a job when Dems slide into power?
On a scale of 1 to Chris Brown, how pissed is he?

Other than slavery, which was a different kind of restraint, this is the greatest intrusion on civil liberties in American history," Barr said

that’s right, Bill Barr said coronavirus lockdowns to stop the spread of the disease are nearly on par in a sort of different way with slavery.

The world is so inside out that I am not sure it was even acknowledged that to make his COVID numbers better that Trump wants to delete the "blue states". That is bat shit crazy. Clearly messaging that he is not concerned about all Americans (I mean he is only really concerned about the Trump family and those he can use).

If you take the blue states out, we're at a level that I don't think anybody in the world would be at. We're really at a very low level

"I'm the president of everybody"
- Donald J. Trump, September 15, 2020, ABC News town hall

Really? President of everybody or just those who voted for you? Nevertheless, he is either being purposely deceptive or is simply wrong; Texas and Florida - a deep red state and, I guess, a light red state - were two of the hardest hit states and they suffered specifically because those states' governors were horses asses and opened everything up too early to placate Trump.

Updated ratings from Cook Political

EDIT: Their math is wrong on the graphic. Dem total is actually 290 for S, L, L.

The ranks of jobless Americans grew yet again last week, with 860,000 first-time unemployment benefits filed last week, rising slightly from the prior week’s level and reaffirming that a relatively robust U.S. recovery is losing momentum.

No word on if that was for all Americans or just those from blue states.

There is a DCCC poll of Texas-3 (Plano and NE Dallas burbs) this morning. The Dem challenger is only down 1 against the R incumbent. But Biden is up 49-46. It is a district Trump won by 14 in 2016. MOE is almost 5 but still pretty wild.

I just think Trump is going to get crushed in the burbs even in red states. Parents there have no good choices--only the bleach drinkers really think school is safe, but plans to go remote have been pretty crappy many feel they have no choice but to send their children in.
