Biden in Plain Sight: Politics

Biden in Plain Sight: Politics

Ok, so President Obama really does live rent free in President Trump's head, and Trump's mental breakdown over Obama is much worse than I could have ever imagined, anyway. In Michael Cohen's new book he says Trump hired a "Faux-Obama" so he could debase and humiliate and then fire him, and normally I would say "Yeah but Michael Cohen," but in this case there is at least a photo produced by Cohen to back it up, which has been acquired by CNN:

Granted there is no sound or anything on this so you can't 100% prove it, but still...

Oh. My. God.

I know this is going around but it seems like the background is a little different. It's this video that they wanted to run at the 2012 RNC right?

The larger issue is that the GOP went in 4 years from having a dumbass celebrity do a rejected "funny" skit to making the same guy president.
Two days later I get a text back that says I'm a basketball player and a businessman, not a Thundercat.

So Michael Cohen is the cheap attention whore liar I always took him for.

Huh, my bad.

one day when we have recovered and can look back at these four years and possibly laugh, it might be fun to rank the grifters from best to worst.

The thing to remember with Cohen is that he's only talking about the things he's already been given immunity for. God knows what else he did to help Trump do evil shit.

Rasmussen releases poll of 1000 likely Wisconsin voters with Biden +8

What's their angle? There's gotta be an angle.

I think they're being obtuse.

While all this yammering about a goofy video is highly pertinent and deeply interesting, I think the last post in the last thread was actually much more so.

thephan wrote:Trump joins the Tom Cotton coalition supporting the denying of funds to any school that uses the 1619 Project in its curriculum. Currently schools in Chicago and Washington, D.C., have already amended their history curricula to reflect the project's messages.

Subsequent articles since then also point out that there is a target on California. Whatever dirty tricks are available, they will be so implemented. I just wonder how much taxation from California funds the Trump land.

Answer my own question, of course the internet has answer. Here's who wins and loses in taxation:

This was intended to be a bit of a spoof for the Romney RNC as an FYI. For context.

Context is important, but we all know Trump took great joy in participating in that skit. I am sure there were many takes.

With all of the b*******, has there been a bigger nothing burger then Trump being a narcissistic ass who likes to be on camera? I mean talk about free rent in people's heads, the dudes a goddamn racist, seems to be a homophobe, any basically every respect is a flaming pile of s***. Why the hell do we care that there's a video of him being a jackass in a way that we know he is a jackass?

Meanwhile back at the ranch he's out there saying that he's taking the high road by doing nothing for the American people because of the Democrats, what a pile of s***. He's trying to figure out a way to injure blue states because they're going to teach about slavery. He's gutting federal programs that educate about inequity and racism in the workplace. But for f***** sake there's a goddamn video of Trump pretending to fire Obama. Come on people, get off the short con, and dig into some important issues.

For instance, there is the bit where Trump accuses military leaders of being warmongers so companies make money:

"I'm not saying the military's in love with me -- the soldiers are, the top people in the Pentagon probably aren't because they want to do nothing but fight wars so that all of those wonderful companies that make the bombs and make the planes and make everything else stay happy," Trump told reporters at a White House news conference.

Kinda of an interesting thing to say at a time when you are trying to refute a story that you called soldiers losers and suckers.

I love that Trump is fine throwing DeJoy to the wolves for cheating the system to over contribute to Trumps campaign through the illegal scheme to reimburse employees for political contributions. The FEC panel has been crippled and does not have enough members (not sure what they are called) to vote on cases, so it literally cannot do shit. May as well take the funds, take the political internal assault on the Post Office to impact mail in voting, and then shove him into a broken process that cannot make a judgement. All clean, all good, no penalties.

I look at that mess as a general claim on the military as a GOP base, which it largely is and that seems to be an indoctrination process (I've had some interesting discussions with active and former military members who cannot explain why this is or where their views came from). Moreover, he is separating the leaders that he appointed from the enlisted and officers. I also see it as a direct assault on (Uniontown, PA's own) Esper, who was part of the sales engine at Raytheon where he was (swamp anyone?) a lobbyist. He replaced (EVP, Inside Sales?) Patrick Shanahan, a former Boeing executive.

Right, she is very likely referring to H1N1. And she is still wrong.
