Wolf still had like a 65 percent favor-ability rating on how he is handling things in the most recent poll

it's LAW AND ORDER.

lancaster is so beautifully framed for his narrative. it's almost too perfect, that does make me wonder about some of RP's claims about misinformation.

he's going to directly link democrats to the violence and the continuation of that violence. Biden/Harris will be on the defensive and it should've been the other way around. smh
they are going to have to defend their support for eliminating cash bail and supporting efforts to raise bail for the protesters. the line between protester and rioter has been blurred unfortunately.

with a republican controlled legal system and threatening 1 million cash bond. the riots in lancaster have stopped in their tracks. he's going to show off lancaster like a shiny christmas present to all the kids at school.

remember this is about perception NOT reality.

even without any definitive answer, his response and total lack of leadership for covid-19, which was borderline criminal imo, should be the focus of this election. instead we fell into a trap, i saw coming.

i urge you guys don't sit back. we don't need 4 more years of this. grassroots. talk to people. don't preach, but make people aware and how important this election is.

New Monmouth asking people if the candidates will "maintain law and order." Yes/no for each candidate:

Trump: 48/50
Biden: 52/45

I would never want to underestimate the gullibility of the American public but you’ve got to be pretty dense to watch Trump’s signature attack ad on Biden and not wonder why the guy on whose watch all the violence started and continued is the right choice to stop that violence going forward.

He's up 3 points in likely voters (up 5 with registered voters) which is within the margin of error.

I said it a few weeks back but Trump lost Florida because the 65+ crowd saw how he and his acolyte DeSantis mishandled Florida’s reopening, risking our lives.

It really does seem like you are still traumatized by the 2016 election and are choosing to believe that Trump will win again just so that:

A. You won’t be crushed again if Trump wins.

B. You will be pleasantly surprised if Biden wins.

I guess from a psychological perspective, convincing yourself that “this time isn’t different” is a win-win for you.

This time is different though. Biden is a stronger candidate than Hillary, with all of her positives and few of her negatives.

I won't deny that is part of my motivation but also I just don't Trump's people voting for someone else and/or not showing up. I think he will pick up more angry white people because of COVID, not lose them.

Does Biden make up the difference by not being Hillary? Maybe. At best.

Considering that Hillary lost the EC by 55,000 votes and Trump has done nothing but shit the bed for the past four years (probably literally as well as figuratively, based on the fact he wears adult diapers) I think “not being Hillary” will indeed be more than enough. I also acknowledge that Trump still stands a very real chance to win and I am also prepared for that outcome.

Hillary also had a multiple decade smear campaign to deal with and an announcement of an investigation by the FBI like a week before the election.

Biden, despite being Obama's VP (I guess they were just laser focused on Barack in those years) doesn't really have that. Their desperate attempts to try and attack Biden's past seem feeble at best. That one ad where he lies about his college credentials (a hilarious attack from Trump given he's sued to keep his college history private) to that random yahoo at a town hall or whatever that was is so old I bet the average person barely even understands the person in the video is Biden.

But he has strong Latino support which was not previously assumed and now makes Arizona polling where Biden has strong support seem more reasonable/accurate.

Florida will always be in the MOE.

Maybe this goes in the COVID thread, but this is crazy town politics related

https://www.msn.com/en-us/lifestyle/lif ... li=BBnbfcL

One woman says the child molesters want to wear masks.

Another says to the teachers: “You work for us!”

One even gets in her: "I can't breath" in there. “[He] was saying, ‘I can’t breathe,’ and then he died,” the woman observes, as if she makes any sense at all. “And now we’re wearing a mask, and we say ‘I can’t breathe,’ but we’re being forced to wear them anyway.”

Pretty sick to compare George Floyd's death and your perceived inability to breath through a cloth mask. I swear some people...

How have you prepared for that outcome? Bombshelter? Dual citizenship? Overseas house? Therapist and liquor store on speed-dial?

My feeling is that we survived four years of his incompetence, we can last another four. I don’t think this is an existential election in a literal sense. Four years from now I will be able to retire early at 41 and move elsewhere if absolutely necessary. You can acquire permanent residency or citizenship in plenty of countries with the appropriate amount of investment. A five year Thai visa is fairly affordable and I could live like royalty there.

If you can afford a 500,000 euro house, you can get the golden ticket citizenship in Portugal.

I'm saving up.

Barring other changes if Biden wins Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota and Arizona he can lose PA too provided he picks up an elector in ME or NE
