On the cUSP: Save the Post Office and Other POLITICS

Trump will cease to care about the virus on November 4th. There will be no coordinated rollout, win or lose. It will be up to the states to do it with no money. If Biden wins, Trump will most likely disrupt the rollout to try to make Biden look bad.

media bias....

more of the media is bias to the left but to a lesser degree.
lesser of the media is bias to the right but to a MUCH greater degree.

Maybe on tv, but overall, I don't think that's true. Clearchannel and some of those outfits are so widespread it's amazing. Talk radio reaches tons of these people who listen to it at work and as background noise at home.

Felt like I posted this, but can't find it. I was at a farmer's market this morning in the outer Banks and this guy starts screaming at a police officer because he was told that there was plenty of signage about needing to wear a mask. The guy starts yelling at him that he wants his $100 back for whatever he's got in the bag, but he can't because the cop is being an a******. The officer said that he had masks right with him and that he'd be happy to give him one so that he could go seek a refund. Then the guy goes bananas yelling at him that he's part of the problem, and that he hates America, and that he's just disgusted by all this. Then out of nowhere this guy shows up carrying an infant and joins the fray. Guy number two is wearing his Trump hat and Trump t-shirt shouting about this isn't his America and that the cop needed to show some respect and man up. He shouted that he wasn't going to go anywhere because this is America dammit, and then the officer turned to him and said this is America but you ain't staying here because this is county property and you're creating a disturbance. So you got a choice get off this property or get ready for a ride and a police car.

I swear to God I have only seen these things at explosive levels in videos, I didn't think I'd see somebody go totally unglued in public and tag team in his kid, and his grandkid. I honestly for a moment was afraid of crazy old man saying something about second amendment and drawn down and people getting shot in front of me. It just ended with crazy old man, and infant carrier son running to the parking lot screaming their heads off after this after that f u, I'm not coming back, f the whole lot of you, and then they peeled out. I have to think it was all for show, and I'll have to do a little internet sleuthing to find the video to show how horrible it is to live in America by Trump supporters.

I would say on economic issues, there's a pretty strong lean to the right across all media. You don't see too many stories touting the importance of strong labor unions or the benefits of increasing minimum wage. You certainly don't get stories discussing how government regulations are good for consumers and workers either.

Based on our governor's press conference, the Feds have told state health departments to be ready for the rollout of the vaccine--have storage and distribution systems in place. However, the feds have not actually told states what kind of storage and distribution systems are necessary.

Saw the one vaccine needs -70 storage and the other -10. Can't remember if it's C or F. If it's the one that's -10 then that's no biggy. The other might cause an issue. Can't wait for the government to blame states on that one .

Nearly arrested because it is too much trouble to wear a mask for 15 minutes.

More red meat for the Trumpers.

A woman at this event today asked Biden a question. She goes, "I was supposed to read this question off this piece of paper, but I'm not gonna do that."

She was given a question by the organization she was there representing. But of course the clip is cut and tweeted out implying/saying the Biden campaign was given out questions.

I wonder how Tom Cotton will spin the part about injured vets and amputees.

They’ll deny it, highlight no named sources, and re reference the lies on trump passing all this VA reform stuff.
On a scale of 1 to Chris Brown, how pissed is he?

Article refers to four administration sources. Not one or two. Four. Plus it's straight consistent with his McCain remarks.

Will not make one iota of difference in election. Unfortunately.
