USPS says Pennsylvania's deadlines are too tight to meet their delivery standards:

Meanwhile, this:

Gotta love village idiot Kudlow saying the quiet part loud in that Guardian piece:

"Voting rights...[are] not our game."

Rather voting rights are part of the "liberal left's wishlist."

Sadly, YCMTSU.

The GOP clearly do not want people to be able to receive their Holiday cards and gifts. The are waging a war on Christmas!

The DNC needs to get the following message out to folks planning to mail in their ballot:

“Mail your ballot AT A MINIMUM, one week in advance of the election. Otherwise, thanks to Trump defunding USPS in a brazenly obvious attempt to steal the election, assume your vote won’t be counted.”

I think it would be very effective and mitigate Trump’s desperate effort to disenfranchise those not willing to vote in person.

If you're haven't seen it take a look at a clip of Trump being asked if he regrets lying to the American people, he says what, the reporter says the tens of thousands of lies you've told the American people, he says who, the reporter says you, then Trump looks a little baffled and picks another person for a question. Have denials no response no nothing. Just a click of a light switch or his brain appears to turn off for a second.

I'm growing optimistic that all of Trump's machinations will backfire, as they always do.

This postal service shit is starting to get media attention. By election day the majority of Americans will be willing to stand in line all day to vote for Biden. I don't think you can say the same for Trumpists.

You've Kamala Long Way, Baby - Politics Thread

Unread postby TomatoPie » Sat Aug 15, 2020 21:21:19

I'm confident that Trump cannot win an honest election in November, but I fear this USPS issue is just tip of the iceberg in terms of how he will cheat and others will cheat for him.

Not sure how Dems can thwart him with Barr as AG. Any help from the courts?

Remember Mary Trump said that when her father died, Donald was at the movies? Today he played golf with Jay Feely. It is also the day that he was scheduled to throw out the first pitch at the yankees game, but canceled because he had very important meetings on COVID 19. I guess the kicker is also a epidemiologist.

Edward Snowden made another public appeal for a partner to return to the US, and Trump come out and responded I’ll think about it. #LawAndOrder

Good time to ask him if they have the count right and he has played golf every weekend since 150,000 Americans died of Covid. I haven’t validated that, but I think that’s true. The dude never in his office, always on the course, and unlike other president least $150,000 each time he goes and when he goes to beddminster or Florida it’s got to be at least triple that include airfare and equipment.
