I saw this and was shocked and then realized that it this is the Republican party and nothing they do should surprise me. I am not an attorney but that mailer has got to be illegal, no? Or is it okay because it came from the party and not the board of elections? I still think it implies governmental endorsement of a candidate which certainly cannot be legal.

Its the party, like a sample ballot I would assume. If it were from the NC broad of elections it would be a problem. Now when the ballots come in the mail with Don's face and everything filled out that get sent somewhere dumb, that is when the prankster wins and Trump's dream is realized.

I think that is his real fear TBH. Dear Leader has his masses so accustomed to his blather that they might be fooled into filling out a bogus ballot which gets sent back to like Mar-a-lago.

Yep...

Now there are three more Republicans added to the program for tonight: former NJ Gov. Christine Todd Whitman, former CA Gov. candidate Meg Whitman and former Rep. Susan Molinari.

Someone is going to have to explain to me the galaxy brain behind letting a bunch of Republicans speak on the first day of the *checks notes* Democratic convention

Probably because they know the talking points from the Trump crowd will be about how they’re going up against socialists who are trying to get rid of the police (doesn’t sound very socialist to me, but these people don’t care about good faith arguments). Trotting out Republican lawmakers shows that this isn’t a far left militia taking over to force everyone into sharia law (which is neither socialist nor in line with getting rid of the police, but that doesn’t really need to be said to anyone with a shred of common sense or critical thinking).

I think it’s to keep the centrists and right of center people (and older folks in general) from freaking out about riots or the potential response that a Biden administration would have to riots.

I really think it's time for Biden/Kamala to get out of the basement and leave Wilmington...

Trump is doing appearances in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Arizona and Scranton, PA...

If Joe ignores Michigan and Wisconsin again like Hillary, he's going to pay for it...I know they can't do typical indoor rallies, but why not outside like Trump is doing?

I'm shocked that some women from blue states don't like Trump.

Barr would then of course prosecute. It could be thrown to the courts. If they decide in his favor, he would get the win AND it would validate all his complaints about an unfair election, probably labelling dems as cheaters and destroying mail in voting in the process. Win, win, win, win. So much winning.

That's my conspiracy theory. Makes more sense than QAnon.

Presidents don't get to declare themselves the winner. There is this lil thing known as the electoral college that bares that responsibility. It will vote in December and its decision will be final.

but it would end in the courts if he disputes results based on documented voter fraud.

Not saying this is going to happen, but I think it would be good for him if it could be pulled off.

The fight is for the middle. The people who are somehow undecided.

Not One Democrat is gonna hold back a Joe vote because a bunch of disgruntled Republicans got stage time at the Zoom convention. But the aim must be to pluck off some thinking Republicans - give them courage to think "I'm not the only one to think that Trump is a criminal moron"
