was told it might be the master bedroom tho. might turn it into a great home office.

what't that vacant area with the ceiling fan supposed to be? Is that where the mariachi band sets up to entertain you while you bathe?

That's the bedroom

Turns out this episode aired long after my time of forced viewing. Buck Owens had already left the show. In addition to the regulars quite a who's who made appearances. Charlie Daniels as co-host along with performances by John Anderson and Janie Fricke. Also one of the episodes with the Million Dollar Band:

Lead guitar: Chet Atkins
Rhythm guitar: Roy Clark
Mandolin: Jethro Burns
Fiddle: Johnny Gimble
Saxophone: Boots Randolph
Piano: Floyd Cramer
Harmonica: Charlie McCoy
Trumpet: Danny Davis

More like Chet Atkins: bass, rhythm, lead guitar all at the same time.

Really. Not sure why it took me so long to find out Mark Knopfler's playing style was inspired by Atkins, which was a backassward way of finally listening to Atkins' amazing playing.

Little House on the Prairie is on whatever channel I was watching when I left this afternoon. I'm reminded that teenage Melissa Gilbert has one of the oddest noses.

numerous opinions regarding that very same nose was the cause of numerous surgeries, depression and drug and alcohol dependency which derailed which would've been a storied career that had just begun.

Have you ever noticed how popular a name “Woodlawn” is for cemeteries?

It kills Lawnwood by a greater proportion than I would have imagined.

it's so popular they had to put a fence around it. Know why they had to put up a fence?

I watched this almost every Sunday as a kid. We'd go to my grandmother's house, hang out in the afternoon, then eat dinner and watch Hee Haw and the disney movie before going home. Lawrence welk was sometimes in there, too. On rainy days I'd watch creature double feature. I later got obsessed with that and watched it almost every week. Hee Haw is definitely a flashback thing for me.

Over in the D+ thread it talks about Disney being out of idea for new content, so hot on those heels I see that The Fresh Prince of Bel-air is getting a reboot.

@tonyhawk

At @Tillys with my daughter, waiting for her by dressing room, mask on.
Guy folding clothes nearby: “Anyone tell you that you look like Tony Hawk?”
me (looking over, expecting sarcasm but realizing he’s serious): you have no idea
him: That’s cool, he’s cool
me: thanks!
him: huh?

scottsdale is on the 2nd tier of athlete/celebrity hotspots. i've probably run in to and accidentally talked to some of them not knowing for sure. i've had people come up to me and say "isn't that so and so?" i was like "they look like that person, but don't think so".

Sometimes I accidentally still click on the virus thread. I think I've caught it and kept myself from reading/responding all but once in the last couple of months.

In a related note it took me this long to realize people can't see my fake smile behind my mask. Generally seems like a blessing not to make the effort except for those instances where I might be forced to speak instead.
