Two words in the Saturday NYT Xword that I needed most of the crosses to be sure of the spelling, even though I immediately knew what both of them were:

ordered a gallon of primer (MAD DOG DURA LAST, USE NOTHING ELSE ON EXTERIORS!) from an amazon seller on Wednesday. Come Thursday, I realize one more gallon won't be enough, so I ordered another, from the same seller. The one I ordered Thursday shipped Friday and was delivered yesterday (Saturday). The one I ordered Wednesday still hasn't shipped. Huh.

I'm very happy for one of my closer friends, who just engaged, but I'm not happy enough to drive 45 minutes for him to show me the proposal spot, like he suggests I do. Am I an asshole, or is that an odd request?
