(actually my 'quote' is from a later scene, when bosco appears to let everybody know that the dog is OK and is then wearing the cone of shame, and the little girl reprises her scream in an excited, happy voice. alas, that clip not available on the yootoobs, so i had to settle for this one).

There are no good Eighties comedies that involve teenagers . I'll give this one credit for employing Joe Flaherty, though.

I can never keep John Hughes and John Landis straight, but I know I didn't like any of their films unless John Candy was in them, and sometimes that wasn't enough.

Well, I liked animal House, but I was actually a teenager myself then.

Definitely, we set up around 9 when nobody is there, hang out for 3 hours, leave everything and come eat lunch. Our house is on the beach so we can come and go easily and not have to remember to bring everything. We're going to do the same place next year

in other news, another ebay oddity. sold something heavy (52lbs). I entered all the dimensions when doing the listing. Buyer ended up paying 94 bucks shipping. I went to print the label and it only cost $54. Guess that makes up for my $28 shipping loss from last week!

Pretty sure the Voxes are the only ones who can fix that and they're not too happy with us right now! It's one of the reasons I use the desktop site even while boarding from my phone.

New driver's license is real thin and janky-looking. Nice to have my current address on it, though, which has been rarely been the case
