Ha! Yeah, I had three of those four originally.

Off the top of my head a Bridgestone Ecopia EP422 might be a decent pick. They came out with a Turanza QuietTrack but after I left so I can't share an opinion.

Everyone makes both good and not-so-good tires.

I just put Generals on my Escape and so far they're not much of a downgrade from the Pirellis I replaced. I hate the first few miles on new tires so I try to form an opinion slowly.

"professional" reviews + personal reviews + availability = more confusion

for some of my sports cars or landcruiser, buying tires wasn't much of an issue and was happy with what they did best and took the cons. when it comes for passenger vehicles i never put much thought into it and don't think i ever really bought the best tires but instead what i thought was best for what was available taking into consideration price. i guess leaning toward goodyear assurance weather ready. don't drive or plan on driving in inclement weather here, but i will be willing to take a very small hit on ride quality in case i do.

priorities are....

1. comfort (ride+sound)
2. longevity
3. weather
4. price
5. low rolling/fuel economy (recommended for prius)

I think the EP422 or Extensa A/s II would work for you. You should get "Buy and Try" coverage with either but check on the details because they may have changed.

Those aren't the only options of course. Being a few years removed from the industry new options of which I'm unaware may be on the market.

A knowledgeable, professional dealer could help you zero in based on your priorities.

knowledgeable, professional... more like trying to sell/get rid of what they have in stock. the rewiews on those ep422's all over the place, specifically with road noise. buy and try?

Buy and Try = X number of days/miles to return if you don't like the tires. Depends on the brand/dealer if you'd be on the hook for another full charge for installation balancing if you did swap.

Another option Bridgestone's clearing out is the Turanza Serenity Plus but I have no idea of availability. I struck out nationally in my size.

Huge fire in Pottstown. Reported by ABC as "near Philly" which shouldn't matter to me in terms of concern, but it did.

Dunno if anyone else has ever made orange vinegar, but basically it's just soaking orange peels in white vinegar for a couple weeks. The resulting liquid smells nicer than regular vinegar and supposedly the orange oils or whatever that are extracted have useful properties for cleaning.

Anyway, I had been saving orange peels in the freezer for a while and a couple months ago I pulled them out. I also had a bunch of clementines that were past their prime so I peeled those too, put all the peels into Mason jars, covered with vinegar, sealed the jars, and put in a cupboard. On a whim I also put the aging edible part of the clementines in a separate jar and did the same.

I then forgot all about them until tonight.

The vinegar with the peels turned out as expected, only more so. A deep orange-brown color, smelling more of orange than of vinegar.

The vinegar with the orange fruit though was interesting. When I opened the Mason jar it started fizzing a lot, indicating fermentation had been happening. The smell was surprising; faint orange smell, a little tang, a little yeasty/boozy. I decided to taste it... it was a bit tart but didn't taste like much of anything otherwise. Hope I don't die

Just had this text exchange with my mother a bit ago.

Mom: Hope youre done with watching the NBA UGH

Me: Why? Great games last night.

Mom: Well they all kneeled including the coach and referee!

Me: Oh? Sixers play tomorrow night. Can't wait!

I couldn't imagine being so upset over something as trivial as kneeling.

Right? I posted a still pic of Phillies first pitch on my Facebook page with the caption “Welcome back Baseball, go phillies!” and some nut job I went to high school with posted this on it “ Fuck your unpatriotic phillies... they can all go fuck themselves...”

Imagine living your life so far up your own ass that, that you need to post that on someone’s Facebook post that you haven’t spoken to in 20 years.

Nobody on the Phillies even kneeled or (afaik) has said much of anything publicly. What exactly was he talking about?

He’s a die hard police lives matter, trump lover, mask hating jack ass. I knew he was trying to bait me into some sort of a fight so he could call me a sheep. I just asked him if he’s a salty Mets fan.
