Why is either campaign letting them do interviews?

I mean he's right to some degree but its said in a completely obtuse way. Cuban americans in florida generally do not vote like mexican americans in texas.

Yeah that's how I understood it. But he's just a mumbly oaf sometimes.

It does not matter anymore and you can tel because Trump still exists as a public official.

Every indication is that Donald Trump is getting very close to pulling the trigger on a payroll tax cut. On Thursday Trump announced that “I have instructed my staff to move forward with an executive order with respect to payroll tax cut….”

Would anyone care to explain to me how the following (from Stephen Miller) are true:

"...we estimate 2.7 million jobs would be created from this tax cut."

"But the best way to help the unemployed is to make it easier for them to get a job. A payroll tax cut would do just that."

Guess this fits here?

But Falwell Jr posted a photo of himself in unzipped pants, next to a woman, also with pants unzipped, in the bedroom of a yatch. The woman was not his wife. He's also drinking.

So yeah, Liberty put him on an indefinite suspension.

No friend of Falwell, but that's just a dopey picture, and while it was unwise to post it his explanation is fine.

it's a tax "deferment" . So we'd all owe it eventually. But if you read the article, it posits that he will use that as an election piece- promise to "forgive" the outstanding deferred tax (can he actually do that? I don't know) and challenge Biden to do the same.

From what I read, the president cannot forgive taxes only an act of Congress can. Also, even if he defers the payroll tax, since it isn’t forgiven, the employer would be responsible for their share as well as the employee’s share if the employee doesn’t pay it or is no longer employed by the employer when it’s due, so cutting the payroll tax via executive order would led to employers continuing to withhold it on their own to avoid being responsible for owing it on behalf of employees.

Guys. He also signed an executive order to guarantee that insurance companies have to cover pre-existing conditions. What an amazingly original idea that's totally not already the law.

The law his administration is actively trying to get invalidated.

I don't think the picture is a big deal, but if that picture would get a Liberty University student in trouble, then I have a problem with it.

Well then you have a problem with it Sarge because fraternization is not permitted at liberty, nor is "that manner of attire, nor is the black water" that the head of the university is drinking. That's right, he said it's just a prop. Of course, if you've been brainwashed you might believe that where the rest of us completely understand that it is alcohol.

Past that, I have not seen much coming out of liberty that is useful to the larger world. It is enriching a conman trading on his father's name, and probably his father's game, but if you want a hyper political employee who's as likely to bash somebody with a Bible can you work done, and you have no expectation that they actually know anything they have a degree in, unless it's religion, and then there's some questions there too, then liberty grads are for you.

I've only ever interviewed one, and was super unimpressed. I always like it when you ask a candidate if they have any questions, and that question is something arcane like where you go to church. And then to be polite and you say it, you get kind of a dour return look because they don't approve. but that's cool, because I'm the one with the job to give.

Yeah, I should correct He's an asshat acting like an asshat. Just the photo isn't really an indication of the sort of impropriety that Calvin's description suggests.

Justice Dem, Alex Morse, who was challenging Rep Neal in Massachusetts-1, has been accused of "sexual contact" with college students (presumably ones at the school he teaches at). Not good for his chances of pulling the upset.
