Jared blocking campaign funding to the house because of the 2016 Blue Wave. Squeeze ain't worth the juice since the house will not fall the GOPs way.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAH

this is like the 'people get rich off welfare' claptrap; the numbers don't add up.
perhaps if someone has more money receiving UC than they did at their job, their job wasn't paying enough.

My niece got the $600 after just starting a job and that was proof enough to my sister in law that it was a liberal handout. Of course, both my nieces are adults who live at home, so it looked like a bunch of extra money because they aren't paying any bills except their cell phones.

I don’t think it’s the same either qualitatively or quantitatively, and by the latter I mean how many Amendments protecting individuals’ rights liberals embrace versus those embraced by Conservatives. I mean, if you think about it, Conservatives are all in on the Second Amendment, the First Amendment as it relates to religion and First Amendment free speech and assembly rights as those rights pertain to them, but no one else. As for the rest of the Amendments guaranteeing individual rights Conservatives by and large only care if they need protection but, as to the rest of the citizenry, pretty much couldn’t give a shit whether those protections are honored.

So I guess if Biden is true to his word we are about a week away from a VP announcement. Harris is still the odds favorite followed by Rice, Bass and Duckworth. I am no expert but I really feel like with Harris the negatives outweigh the positives.

Harris is lowest on that list for me, but I could see the establishment choosing her

The pick comes down to what votes they're chasing. Seems like each option appeals to different groups.

I read over the weekend a bio on Susan Rice and it was throwing support towards her as VP because she doesn't covet the presidency and Biden/Rice would simply be a one term duo and then the Dems would reset in 2024. I don't get that logic and wondered what others thought? If your party wins the Presidency, you want to ride the wave of popularity towards a 2nd term that normally comes for an incumbent.

I also don't get the logic. Even if Biden is viewed as one term only continuity and a smooth transition is key. Probably gives an edge to Harris.
