Democrat Mark Kelly is leading in the Arizona Senate race in a new poll from GOP firm AZ HighGround (which paid for the poll itself). Kelly is up 51 percent to 41 percent for Republican Sen. Martha McSally, and leads by double digits in Maricopa County, which includes a majority of the state’s voters.

From Politico:

Democrat Charles Booker, a Kentucky state representative, is hoping to lean on the support of his fellow local elected officials as he tries to upset Amy McGrath in the Senate primary. Campaign Pro’s James Arkin reported (for Pros) that nearly half of the Democrats in the state House have backed him, and two state senators and another representative also endorsed his bid. "They are realizing that the [DSCC] choice, the person that has all this outside money, is not the strongest candidate to do it. And they're standing with me,” Booker said in an interview with James. (McGrath is endorsed by the DSCC.)

I tend to agree. McGrath builds nothing with the local party, brings nothing other than being a fighter pilot, and initially got off being 'pro-Trump'. For the national party to continue to push her is pretty lame.

Let's go for a super majority in the Senate

McGrath did terribly in her Congressional race last time too. DSCC swings and misses quite a bit.

Isn’t that an illegal poll tax?

There's lawsuits around allowing postmarked ballots. I imagine the PA Supreme Court will take it up

I know COVID-19 is a very big deal but I hope that people are keeping their eyes open to other happenings because the very foundation of our country, our way of life, is shifting in the sands of this administration:

@realDonaldTrump
Republicans feel that Social Media Platforms totally silence conservatives voices. We will strongly regulate, or close them down, before we can ever allow this to happen. We saw what they attempted to do, and failed, in 2016. We can’t let a more sophisticated version of that....

@realDonaldTrump
....happen again. Just like we can’t let large scale Mail-In Ballots take root in our Country. It would be a free for all on cheating, forgery and the theft of Ballots. Whoever cheated the most would win. Likewise, Social Media. Clean up your act, NOW!!!!

This is a US president talking about taking governmental action to shut down private businesses. Why? Because Twitter called him out on ONE of the steady stream of lies he has told over the past four+ years. This is also a US president advocating against free and fair elections, i.e. democracy. Americans must remain vigilant!!

Great job, Twitter. You managed to enable this fuckwit for the last five years as he grifted his way to the presidency and provided a platform for lies and misinformation, only to put your foot down (gently) when he’s on his way out of office so you can look like you took a moral stand.

So republicans deregulated broadcast television to get rid of the equal time requirement and now the want to regulate social media companies to stop them from commenting on his tweets with facts. Cool cool cool

Guess it was too much to ask for Trump to comment on George Young. What a coward

I'd love the GOP to rally around stomping a business... its such on brand for them to be so anti-business
