Unless they are going to hold his tweets from posting live, which they won't do, I don't know how they can link to fact checking in real time when they don't know the topic.

Tweets are active for 24 hours on any given timeline, so they could quickly and easily apply some type of warning label to his (or anyone's tweets) that would be active for, let's say 23 hours. That's pretty bold.

Absolutely this. Connect with people at an emotional level and get them to vote. This election is "if you do not vote for Biden, you are casting your vote for Donald Trump to remain President" - it's that simple. Issues are secondary right now.

Yeah seems to be a tactic Biden is adopting. Talk about how he gave millions to all the businesses that donate to him.

It's important that Biden have an insulting nickname for Trump and hammer it home every chance he gets. Anything that emasculates Trump is important, no matter how childish it may seem.

Agree - you can't out-Trump Trump. Need to inspire the Dem base + moderates who went Trump but now have a guilty conscience. IMO being real and making it personal is the key to that.

The really interesting part imo is what Trump’s “big action” will be. He’s got no First Amendment case. Twitter could legally (if not practically) cut him off if they wanted. He could try legislation but that has little chance of happening and would probably take too long anyway. He could try to rally his followers to boycott Twitter but then he endangers his own best platform.

Based on previous experience my guess is he’ll get Butt Boy Barr to increase antitrust pressure on the social media companies to try to get them to bend to the imperial will.

I do think what Twitter has done, although perhaps not enough, is bold though. They’ve done nothing before now and to poke this particular bear less than 6 months before the election is setting up a huge confrontation.
