It hurts down ballot progressives that were hoping to win local elections. Without Bernie on the primary ballot it hurts their chances of winning.

It also reduces delegate counts for Bernie which will have an affect on the DNC platform.

Reallocating delegates per the DNC rules:

“If a presidential candidate entitled to an allocation under this rule is no longer a candidate at the time at-large delegates are selected, his/her allocation shall be proportionately divided among the other preferences entitled to an allocation.”

Pretty obvious he simply refuses to allow testing to expand to any meaningful level at all. A helpful president would use DPA to allow mass production of swabs, re-purposing of whatever facilities could handle the chemical side, etc.

That would require acknowledgment that a problem exists in the first place, which we know he doesn’t care about. He’ll shift his focus to the economy this week since the briefing bullshit has run its’ course

What mall or restaurant is capable of operating at break even capacities at 25% especially when 80% of the country says it’s too soon?

It’s almost like THEY KNOW THIS IS A PURELY POLITICAL MOVE. Well they chose not to open!!!
