I'll wait for the polling, but I would have thought Amash would be catnip to the libertarian folks who usually vote republican. I know two people who were hoping amash would run. One of them voted for Trump and the other for Johnson. I'm hoping he's the ralph nader of the right.

Not currently on the ballot in Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New Hampshire.

I do have complicated thoughts on this. The short of it is I don't want Trump to be president anymore, and I think the allegations against Biden are suspect, so I hope this doesn't derail his candidacy (and I don't think it will and I don't think it should based on present knowledge). But Biden championed policies that ruined the lives of young men for far less. The Obama administration's push to remove due process from (mostly) men facing sexual assault accusations and Title IX and whatnot was I think horrendous, and Biden was the face of that policy. If lightning strikes here and his opportunity to be president is struck down, fairly or unfairly, by Reade, I will shed no tears.

Politicians who are lining up behind Biden like Gillibrand are shoving what are at least somewhat credible allegations to the side like they're nothing are showing what their real priorities are. I am a hypocrite, and I came to peace with that a long time ago, but I don't think a lot of the people unapologetically backing Biden would acknowledge they are hypocrites, and I'd appreciate if they did so.

I think with the contemporaneous corroboration from people Reade spoke to, this claim against Biden is clearly stronger than what Kavanaugh was accused of with Blasey Ford. Like, I don't think it's close. And I got really angry about trying to keep Kavanaugh off the court over that, so I'm not arguing Biden cannot become president because a woman who legit seems off and stories have changed and whatnot have accused him of something horrendous (and out of character and not seen as repeated and all those other things that we've seen in other cases). But I think here it was seen as something of a travesty by many that Kavanaugh got on the court given the circumstances. And I guess I'm a bit dumb and quite biased, but not sure how this accusation isn't checking at least as many boxes on the #metoo scorecard, if not more.

Kavanaugh had lied under oath in earlier testimony. That was the killer for me and I'm sure that influenced the opinions of some independents. He also really came across as a dick and personality does play a role in public opinion.

I think it is the power, the majesty, the precision. Plus our women and men are in those cockpits. My brother was in the Air Force so I guess I have a soft spot for fighter jets.

I do want to add that at my viewing location, near the base of the Ben Franklin Bridge, most everybody was doing a very good job of distancing. There were fewer masks than I would have liked to have seen but people did take distancing seriously.

Considering he has not announced his candidacy I would assume you could list all 50 states at the moment.

The Libertarian Party has secured ballot access for the presidential race in 36 of 50 states at the moment.
