Could this finally be the thing to get the media to treat the trump admin like the corrupt bumbling morons that they are?

Well talk about under the radar, hardly a peep about the retaliatory air strikes on Iran. I can hardly find shit about it but it was said on NBC nightly news.

Any highlights? Evidently I'm over the article limit even though I never visit bloomberg.com. A a lot of nerve to ask me for money after I donated to his campaign (under Pacino's name, of course)

it was actually much tamer than i expected. what really caught my attention was a last minute edit to the script where they removed the part about him and ivanka (she's the first lady right) sending thoughts and prayers to those affected. I imagine they've taken note of being mocked for that as the main course of remedy

The illegitimate Governor of Georgia decided to nix an election for State Supreme Court and instead just installed who he wanted.

My brother owns a windshield repair company and does well with it. He has two employees who both make around 50k/year. He said if business shuts off and there's no money coming in, he can wait 3 or 4 weeks before he has to lay off the first guy and another 2 weeks before he's have to lay off the other. He's told them this so they are prepared. It's unclear how this will affect his business, but he's concerned people will stay home and there will be much fewer repairs. He does have some corporate accounts, so maybe that will keep him afloat enough to keep everyone on the payroll.

This is exactly the problem, isn’t it? The Republicans don’t believe in government and Trump doesn’t know how. So all they’ve got in their quiver is tax cuts and free market prayers. It’s the descendant of Hoover’s unwillingness to help during the depression (although he knew how to get things done; he just refused to have the Feds do anything). Hopefully the silver lining to this mess is that Trump and the Republicans’ callousness, unwillingness and inability to govern has now been fully exposed and it will lead to them being swept out of office in the Fall.

Yeh, this is the first time I've heard my brother say anything negative about him. He followed that up later by saying a few other things. I'm hoping he's over Trump. It certainly sounded like it.

China is 100% responsible for their actions at and around the start of the pandemic. However, China has nothing whatsoever to do with the bumbling, if not mocking, manner in which this administration has botched its own action (or inaction) in response to the crisis. There are dozens of examples of them being asleep at the switch but I saw this on Morning Joe this morning and was left speechless:

It is about 4.5 mins long but you can focus on the 2 min mark forward for the super cringe worthy bit.

I get confused if it's Obama's, China's or Europe's fault

It's definitely China's fault, they handled this terribly but so has every other country at some point.

Let's assume that the lunatic fringe is correct and this is all a plot against Trump. It still does not explain the utter failure of this administration to (a) recognize the threat; (b) develop a coordinated response to that threat; (c) communicate that response to those on the front lines; and (d) ease public concern.

I think it speaks volumes that the DOW 30 was down over 2,000 pts yesterday, the day after Trump gave his prime-time speech.

I just don't know what country did a good job. People will say South Korea but some of the things South Korea did would not fly in the US.
