I don't know how much Biden's early struggles were on his campaign vs. the man himself not coming out looking as strong as people would hope. That gave room for the campaigns of Klobuchar and Buttigieg to strike and for Bloomberg to try and buy an election. Though there are probably very good staff members on both campaigns. Pete's advisor Lis Smith seems to be well respected for the work she's done to make a mayor of South Bend such a hot commodity.
As I say this she's apparently on twitter telling a reporter that whomever their source was saying Pete would endorse Biden tonight at a rally was dead wrong and should be ignored. I'm sure it was probably some third level staffer who heard that Buttigieg was going to endorse and wanted to leak the info and filled in the blanks. A weird thing to get on a high horse about.
