We have been informed by the whistleblower’s counsel that their client would like to speak to our committee and has requested guidance from the Acting DNI as to how to do so.

We‘re in touch with counsel and look forward to the whistleblower’s testimony as soon as this week.

will announce a formal impeachment inquiry later today, I am told by two sources close to her.

A decision on whether a select committee will be formed will be decided collectively by the caucus.

I hope this whistleblower is in witness protection.

Republicans laying out an ultimatum on an e-verify bill. If anyone offers amendments, they will kill it. If it dies, unions will get upset and Republicans will place blame on the other side. it is basically one of their moves in their larger plan to insert immigration into labor issues.

Senate unanimously agreed on Sen. Schumer’s resolution calling for whistleblower complaint to be sent to intelligence committees.

This is pretty big. While there’s no teeth to this, it is rare to see the Senate agree on anything. Especially on something that runs afoul of Pres. Trump.

With all the fits and starts of the past two+ years, I am trying hard to stay grounded right now. This, however, seems like a potential seismic event in Trump's presidency. Unless there is some backroom play being made that makes the GOP senators look good for signing on but knowing that the complaint will never make it to the committee. I do not know the logistics/rules of all of this.

McConnell has something up his sleeve.
