The Journal's news report came as a top Ukraine official reported said that Trump "is looking" for Ukraine officials to investigate business dealings of Biden's son in that country in an effort "to discredit" Biden as he seeks the Democratic presidential nomination.

The Dems have to present this right, something like: "The President is conspiring with a former Soviet country (and current Putin ally) to discredit a former Vice President of the USA." Now, to be sure, many of Trump's followers will applaud Trump's actions, but it may be enough to sway some more otherwise decent people into abandoning him.

The president answered, "It doesn’t matter what I discussed, but I will say this: Somebody ought to look into Joe Biden’s statement because it was disgraceful where he talked about billions of dollars that he’s not giving to a certain country unless a certain prosecutor is taken off the case. So somebody ought to look into that."

Trump then claimed that the media "wouldn't" investigate Biden "because he's a Democrat and the fake news doesn't look into things like that."

Of course it was a beautiful conversation.

When President Donald Trump visits the UN on Monday, many of his fellow world leaders will be participating in a summit meant to address climate change. Trump won't be there.
Instead, the President is chairing his own session focused on worldwide religious persecution.

Had a choice of to things he does not know anything about, so he took Pence's recommendation.

The difference is, Americans by and large believe in the legitamacy of the FBI and its findings. I highly doubt any potential Biden voters will give any weight to the findings of some Soviet country's "investigation."
