i have a simply simily, which i love and went out of business for some unknown reason. yeah you got to have ice ready or on demand. before the ice maker, i tried removing the lid and putting it in the freezer for a couple of hours, and that didn't even have the best results. you'll have better luck putting your water into a cheap pitcher and transferring it to your tumbler.

Don’t most people have ice in their freezers? Even when I didn’t have an ice maker I had the ice trays. I like ice

Yeah so the tops of these things are actually so narrow that you can't fit a regular sized ice cube in from an ice cube tray either. Guess I could just put less water in the tray but yeah they don't make it easy!

Because sometimes I forget to fill it up at night and am only filling the Brita in the morning. The real problem here is not on my end, we moved to a new office and don’t have drinkable water here outside of the sink

Someone actually added a Brita to the fridge here just today so I think my problem could be solved! Until that doesn’t get filled up either. We had those filtered water fountains at the old office but nothing here so far. Frankly the office wasn’t ready for people but that’s a whole different story

when i got in my truck this morning i heard on the radio it was national donut day so i figured i'd get a dozen for the guys. stopped at the final bakery leaving town, they open at 6 but the donuts don't come out until 7. seems counterintuitive.

Same. I still watch a lot of Phillies games but it’s mostly because they’re on and rather than channel surf to find something to put on before the kids go to bed I can put it on and then if I’m not watching something else that night it just stays on while I do other stuff like read or whatever. I don’t live and die with any of it much anymore, it’s just a fun distraction and if I start to get frustrated or annoyed, I just walk away. Too much other stuff in this world to get stressed about, men playing with balls isn’t one of them.
