they are called the collar stays. I prefer to keep them in, however you must remove them prior to dry cleaning as they may damage both the collar and the stay

I'm pretty sure you don't keep those. What if you want to wear a tie? Now, collar stays, that's a whole nother thing. Those are usually plastic, unless you get fancy brass ones.

Same. I still watch a lot of Phillies games but it’s mostly because they’re on and rather than channel surf to find something to put on before the kids go to bed I can put it on and then if I’m not watching something else that night it just stays on while I do other stuff like read or whatever. I don’t live and die with any of it much anymore, it’s just a fun distraction and if I start to get frustrated or annoyed, I just walk away. Too much other stuff in this world to get stressed about, men playing with balls isn’t one of them.
