I'm perfectly okay with her living with another guy. He's basically an old man so I'm not too worried about it. I'm not a huge fan of him because she's had issues with him eating food that doesn't belong to him in the past, and other minor things that build up over time.
Piss off.

Feel like a lot of companies are into monetizing pride these days.

Pittfan, I completely get where youre coming from and would probably be annoyed too; but Im not seeing a way you can attempt to resolve this without seeming like youre the unreasonable one. Itd probably be best to just move on. Just my opinion, though

It’s the same as any cause, pink ribbons, red ribbons, yellow bracelets, jigsaw pieces, and on and on. You can be cynical and and say it’s just brands cashing in (which it is) or you could look at it and think that so many major organizations are willing to support “pride” now which really actually does help further the acceptance and normalization of the glbt community. 10 years ago that wouldn’t have been the case. With the administration we have in the wh and the packing of the courts with conservative judges/justices progress is important, look at how states are attacking row v wade, gay marriage could be and probably is on their agenda as well. The fact that commercial enterprises are willing to sell out on pride is a good thing even if it’s for less than altruistic purposes. IMO

I mean it's good because it shows that it's beneficial in society now to generally accept these things.

It's bad if they don't even donate the proceeds of whatever rainbow merch they're hocking to charity.

but doesn't that make you just a little bit proud? The alternative is to just hide it/ignore it like pretty much the rest of history.

randomly, the woman who's volume setting is broken on like 8.5 was discussing how badly she manages her finances. I am about 30 meters away and clearly heard her. Instills confidence in her abilities.

helicopter crashed on top of a building in Manhattan, killing the pilot and starting a fire. Just an emergency landing gone wrong, but now everyone's panicking like 9/11 again
