The only thing I can find is a non-byline post on a user submitted website. I have no reason to believe that it's not true, however.

I have no idea what Gov Wolf has to do with it though? Unnecessary jab

Best part of the Bernie on Fox's "Tax Day town hall" was not the swing and a miss on Health Care by team Fox, but Donald being pissy about Fox having Bernie on at all, and aggravated by an audience that was happy to hear him. His side order of angst about Donna Brazile is pretty great too. All that in 140 characters!

The NYT running a Bernie/Hillary rehash on 1A. They apparently also cold called Neera Tanden’s elderly mom, didn’t make it clear to her that the call was on the record, and used it to fuel the fire.

This might belong in the Unpopular Opinion thread but I am not looking forward to MSNBC and other left-leaning media shoving "Mayor Pete" in my face for the next 10 months.

Heard he speaks a lot of languages, tho!

If he speaks Cherokee he and Elizabeth Warren can have an interesting conversation.

Now he is claiming FOX wouldn't let his supporters in, and that Bethlehem PA is now thriving.

Pac, you sound like a Fox News viewer there. Let's not chastise the mayor for being intelligent and educated enough to speak multiple languages. Being a good communicator is a plus and he appears to be an excellent communicator. Winning an election is about communicating themes rather than policy. I personally think policy is also important, but he does seem to get how to communicate the big ideas. And he seems intelligent enough to learn the policy if he doesn't already know it.

Not saying he's my choice. I just hate seeing an education being used to hit someone over the head.

Man, if doing something for real was a qualifier for office there would be some tough changes in representation.

Trump has vetoed a bill passed by Congress to end support for the Saudi-led war in Yemen.

—————-

"This resolution is an unnecessary, dangerous attempt to weaken my constitutional authorities, endangering the lives of American citizens and brave service members, both today and in the future," Mr Trump said in the veto message.

The House Speaker, Democrat Nancy Pelosi, was among those to condemn President Trump for the move.

I think Pete just sort of grates me because it's like rich white woke internet dudes had a collective dream and this guy just appeared. Nothing against the dude personally...he seems smart and generally thoughtful but it's a short resume and he seems too perfect at times.

Also: https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/he ... rification is bad.

Which policy will he implement? How? Where does he stand and why? Why leap to president? What did he do as mayor that people like?

I'm not chasitsing him to intelligence but for the reaction to him. Plenty of people in the race as intelligent. they're running for fucking president.

I was talking about you busting his balls for speaking another language. Asking what he's done to warrant being president is fine. I have the same concerns, though I haven't discounted him yet. I think he has some strengths that others do not have

Fair questions obviously but what has any of them done, really, that we know would translate to the presidency? And how confident can we be about any of them getting things accomplished in this political framework?

My top-line criteria are authenticity and appeal, which Buttigieg has in spades. Strong judgment. And then policies, of course. We'll see.

Added context: I would prefer my five year old serving in the Oval to a Trump reelection.

Part of the Trump plan is to argue that congress has no power to subpoena or investigate. Continues with this Unitary Executive theorythat was filed when Bush 2 was in office. That memo needs to be pulled and shredded.
