THIS IS AN ECHO TEST

Friday Tweet:
"Your all time favorite President got tired of waiting for China to help out and start buying from our FARMERS, the greatest anywhere in the World!"

Reality Check: China bought $9.3 billion in U.S. agricultural products last year.

Remedy: Farmers work so they can get SNAP and other welfare.

AOC shooting at Biden as 'same old politicians' is funny as she supports a life long politicians in Bernie. She should stick with targeting policy, not people.

Bernie and Biden, while career politicians, don't exactly have the same track record.

Warren is beginning to creep up in the polls.

Biden has many of the same liabilities as HRC.

Biden's woman problems are different from Hillary Clinton's woman problem (ie. Being one).

I know the conventional wisdom is that Hillary lost because of sexism. But I think that misses several important problems with the HRC campaign. The fact is that through the 90s and 00s, she was part of the DLC, which had embraced a strategy of moving to the right. Sure, it was Bill, not Hillary that signed welfare reform and the crime bill and so forth, but Hillary wasn't exactly critical of that either. She voted for the Iraq war, she made those speeches to Goldman Sacks, and so forth.

It's not just that the Dems have moved to the left, there are important strategic assumptions that a successful Dem President needs to embrace. Biden seems to think that Dems can count on Republicans to work in good faith towards solving problems. He doesn't recognize that Mitch McConnell and the Newt Gingrich legacy, not Donald Trump, is the real problem with the Republican Party. Blocking Merrick Garland is the new norm. Undoing the voting rights act (because the only way Republicans can win elections is to make it more difficult for young and non-whites to vote) and so forth is the basic Republican strategy.

I think Biden's appeal is that he represents the idea that once Trump is gone, we can get back to normal. Alas, it doesn't seem to be the case.

Trump isn't the cause, he's the symptom.

her foremost political ally and husband is a well-known predator, likely a rapist. Dems didn't care but they were kidding themselves that she could attack Trump's sexual history from that position

On Barr's investigation of the investigation:

"I didn't ask him to do that," Trump said at the White House ahead of his departure to Louisiana. "I didn't know it." "But I think it's a great thing that he did it. I saw it last night, and they want to look at how that whole hoax got started," he continued. "You know what? I am so proud of our attorney general, that he is looking into it. I think it's great."

I doubt his supporters even believe that.

The only thing the next democratic president really needs/can do is wield executive power like a sledgehammer. Biden will not do this.

Maybe we can say this: did he have to ask directly? Maybe one of the 237 million tweets from the president on the matter might have suggested this investigation. Then again, you may recall that AG Barr does not seem to know what the word suggest means.
