lets face it, CNN and the like need to keep Comey in the game to keep moving that rock around so they have someone to point at as a torch bearer. I am not sure what Comey is doing to money these days, but I assume this relevance is good or his cash flow.

I did not know about the "Red Socks" and the "World Cup Series" controversies, but at least the coverage has nailed the more relevant observation that the team members that skipped the even happened to be all non-white players. That is more damming then general idiocy and ignorance.

True story.

EDIT: Oh you guys were talking about George. Donald was the drunken congressman keynote speaker at my event.

Either way no good. Andy Kim was also at that, when he was a candidate. What a contrast.

HUDsays 55,000 children could be displaced under Trump plan to evict undocumented immigrants

-WaPo article

Was or was not Ben Carson awake when the release decision of this information was made, and if he was, does he at all understand the narrative he just spun for his boss? Beyond his frog meme henchman Miller rubbing his hands together while he appeases his brethren with the "stealing from us" narrative.

The proposed rule, published Friday in the Federal Register, would tighten regulations against undocumented immigrants accessing federally subsidized housing to “make certain our scarce public resources help those who are legally entitled to it,” HUD Secretary Ben Carson said last month.

Oh no, Don McGann will be held in contempt if he does not turn up. He is due in to congress in 5/21.

That said, there was at least one report that they could use the fine/jail remedy not employed in like 100 years. Jackie Spear is reported to have put that on the table.

And those countries will be the countries that find a way to enrich Trump and his family OR are willing to help him win reelection.

I know I should not be shocked at anything anymore, but Rudy asking the Ukraine to investigate Biden (cancelled his trip by the way, because of the Democrats), then Trump saying that he finds nothing wrong with the idea of asking Barr to do the same is jaw dropping.

File this under "Trump 2020: Just tryin' to stay out of jail 'til I die in office" and "holy shit, I'm scared of Sleepy Joe Biden!"

With that said, that move by Joe appears, at first blush, shady af.

I think the problem we're having right now is the right has been calling anything done by Obama or other democrats treason and illegal and immoral for so long that people don't really know how to identify those things for real when they happen. Most republicans I know are pretty convinced Obama did just as many of these things as Trump is doing now, so they believe, at worst, both parties are equally as bad. This is what happens when one party bashes government for 30 years. I've also been saying for years that one of the GOP modus operandi is is saying the democrats are doing whatever horrible thing they plan to do themselves. People are just desensitized to it. They think there's non-stop corruption when in reality Obama was about as squeaky clean as any president in my lifetime. He wasn't perfect, but he certainly wasn't the constitution-assaulting, anti-american tyrant they say he was.

joe Manchin said that 19% of WV is using SNAP. He was close, it is north of 17%. What would a work requirement do to the WV population? <TBF, that was essentially what Joe was talking about>

Trump thinks he’s collected billions in tariffs from CHINA and that bumped the GDP. Truth is that the GDP bump was in anticipation of the tariffs and businesses bought ahead.
