I know everybody thinks the Supreme Court will vote strictly on party lines but I'll be surprised if its not something like 8-1 against Trump (with probably Thomas the 1). Those guys are on already. They don't have to worry about retribution.

Wait until it breaks that the losses were faked to keep money with out taxation. Then find out that tude money kept was bank loans, like a ponzi scheme but there mark is a bank. Moral high ground right there.

Comrade Trump had an opportunity to actually be a leader last night; instead, this happened:

Trump outlined his concerns about the US-Mexico border, making the case for his long-sought border wall: "When you have 15,000 people marching up, and you have hundreds and hundreds of people, and you have two or three border security people that are brave and great. And don't forget, we don't let them and we can't let them use weapons. We can't. Other countries do. We can't. I would never do that. But how do you stop these people?" the President said.

Someone in the audience interrupted Trump, shouting: "Shoot them!"

Trump chuckled at the shouted remark before shaking his head, as the crowd began to laugh. "That's only in the Panhandle you can get away with that statement," the President then said with a smile, with the crowd erupting into laughter. "Only in the Panhandle!"

He should have added, "and only at a Trump rally".

Murphy wants to investigate Christie's policy of handing out tax incentives like they're candy. Norcross has a mad and threatens Murphy with a primary.

Yeah, the only thing surprising about that is that Norcorss crawled out from under his rock to go public, rather than sticking with the knife in the back.

The great WH press pass purge is upon us! All of the WaPo has been eliminated, among others...

Organizations need to beg for them back on an exception case basis.

There is standard that has been set top keep your hard pass:

no credentials to any journalist who is not in the building on at least 90 out of the previous 180 days — in other words, seven of every 10 workdays.

Just did a search of my old George Norcross posts. Probably the best was this, in a random thoughts thread, at almost 2 AM on a Thursday night/Friday morning eight years ago (later that day Ryan Howard would blow out his Achillies and the Phillies would be ruined for seven years).

I can't believe George Norcross isn't fat and slovenly

God knows what was in the news that prompted that post.

Very rich him accusing Murphy of acting like "a king" when he himself pulls the strings without being elected to so much as dogcatcher.

President Trump said Thursday that former Secretary of State John Kerry should be prosecuted under the Logan Act for speaking with Iranian officials and criticizing Trump's policies in Iran.

the Logan act forbid private citizens from NEGOTIATING with foreign powers. There has never been a conviction under the act. Maybe DJT thinks that speaking is negotiating and that is why he thinks he is a master negotiator (versus mounds of evidence to the contrary).
