Is Alabama Isis woman is going to turn into a gigantic mess. She apparently had a US passport, that says she's some kind of citizen, so what happens now. The family says she was born in New Jersey, and Pompeo says she is simply not a citizen. Did you ever an answer citizenship? And what happens to all those that we abandon, doubling down on some reason to hate us. No easy answer here.

Man, some former Trump campaign official (Jen Denson maybe) sued to void her NDA with the campaign, and arbitration awarded the campaign $50,000 from her for taking the matter to court. She said that even volunteers were made to sign NDAs. She indicated that the NDAs are in perpetuity.

FWIW, the right term for NC is being used. It is Election Fraud, not voter fraud. Cheers to the Election Commission for being unanimous on rebooting this election in whole. 40% in one county, and 75% in another of requested absentee ballots for black voters were not returned for this congressional voting district.

I saw hints of next week but nothing for today.
yeah it was 'as early as next week'. Also it would just be to DoJ first so it's not like we're seeing it anytime soon unless it gets leaked.

There is a sentencing memo for Manafort that will be entered today. I doubt the whole report will come out same day.

Mueller will send a road map to impeachment 2.0 to Congress.

The first road map concerned Nixon.

I heard a little bit of NPR's 1A, and one of the people on the panel made an interesting point. Her point was that this is a counterintelligence investigation and that things that come out of it are likely to be dealt with elsewhere. Her messaging was sort of that the end of one is the beginning of another to temper expectations.

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/02/22/us/p ... staff.html

Senator Amy Klobuchar was hungry, forkless and losing patience.

An aide, joining her on a trip to South Carolina in 2008, had procured a salad for his boss while hauling their bags through an airport terminal. But once onboard, he delivered the grim news: He had fumbled the plastic eating utensils before reaching the gate, and the crew did not have any forks on such a short flight.

What happened next was typical: Ms. Klobuchar berated her aide instantly for the slip-up. What happened after that was not: She pulled a comb from her bag and began eating the salad with it, according to four people familiar with the episode.

Then she handed the comb to her staff member with a directive: Clean it.

I know both Rs and Ds alike will highlight these anecdotes over the next 18+ months but these are amateur hour compared to what our president has done. That is, of course, not to condone the reported behavior but it is going to have to get a lot worse than that before it becomes a serious problem. As I said before, I would bet money that there are similar stories for every candidate out there. You telling me Booker didn't snap at somebody along the line? Does Elizabeth Warren strike anyone as being completely level-headed at all times?

Using a comb to eat salad? Shows me she is determined and a problem-solver.

In a field crowded by qualified candidates that are all pretty similar in policy, how one of them treats their employees could be a deciding factor for me in a primary. It wouldn't keep from supporting her in the general, though, if she gets the nomination.

This just in: Mueller Report not going to be delivered next week.

Apparently this is staying out of the way of the Vietnam trip. Its been a busy week so I had no idea what that was. NK round two 27-28 February.

I'm out on Klobuchar. She could have so easily gone with the 5 Scoop and taken care of business. Simple, elegant, immediate, and easy clean up. Maybe I spend too much time in the woods.

Fewer jobs since they pay higher wages? That almost seems like an argument against wage floors, to be honest.
