Donald apparently can get the Irish to bend. Given his deal maker track record I would say that this is completely baseless.

I am always curious how voters feel when their votes are disregarded in favor of agenda. Why even vote on laws and measures if the legislature can simply dump the passed item?

in Utah and Idaho approved ballot measures meant to expand Medicaid coverage to more low-income residents under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), legislators in both states are moving to place restrictions on the number of new people who would be covered.


I love that part of the plan is to put people on the ACA exchanges.

Republican senators predict that when push comes to shove, their conference will back President Trump and turn aside any resolution from Democrats that seeks to stop his use of an emergency declaration to build a wall on the border.


Game on says the GOP. They are willing to go to the mst for something 2/3 of Americans oppose and everyone willing to think knows is a sham. Interesting play.

Honestly this is excellent so far, judging it purely as a piece of political theater. And he is - surprisingly - reading it well. Well paced, well delivered.
