speaking of the PA State Senate, Tina Davis sues to check the 200 invalidated ballots since she is losing by 72 votes. Would be huge if the Dems picked up another Senate Seat.

Los Angeles Times: Mueller might soon bring charges that even Trump die-hards can’t trivialize.
https://www.latimes.com/opinion/op-ed/l ... story.html

From the he Google news feed, the folks in LA think they know Mueller's next moves against the Donald.

Interesting read.

What a start to Thanksgiving week for Leader Pelosi.

Tim Ryan/Moulton wing continues to struggle to recruit a challenger.
And Ocasio-Cortez knocks that wing, lifting Pelosi w/ left.
Big donors are calling members on her behalf.
Obama heaps praise on her.
Fudge drops & endorses.

The first thing you notice is the infantile copy. But an hour after reading it, I'm more struck by the utter lack of moral foundation that supports this entire statement. It's a disturbingly shallow journey into a discussion of right/wrong. "Hey, they gave us a bunch of money, money is good, China is bad, Iran is bad, this is easy."

I really think this is part of the reason he's been as successful as he has. There is no nuance. Nuance is complicated and requires people to know stuff and think about that stuff. His base thinks in black and white and can't be bothered to know or think.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Offered Pelosi support earlier. The winning proposition is for Pelosi to take on apprentices to shut down the talking point for the next election. She’s effective, but she’s got retire someday. More importantly, these folks are not really upstarts as much as the next generation just dying on the vine. Get them in there and get them working. Show real leadership to the nation.

I really feel like this is just cover for the dems who promised to vote against pelosi when they were trying to get elected/reelected. There was never even a serious challenger. It was/is for show and, with a few exceptions, nobody really wanted to replace her.

But I do agree that it's time to let the youngins start to assert themselves. The opposition is morally bankrupt and we need fresh energy to lead the charge against them.

my post may have read differently than I intended. I think she should be in the leadership position, but I want to see some of the younger crew start to assert themselves. 2 years from now, it would be great if she was mentoring a younger voice in the leadership role.

really depends on if the GOP senators actually do what's right instead of having Graham scream out a speech and rally the rest to fall in line
remember you need 67 votes to remove Trump after impeachment trial

I was thinking about distractions Trump could use through this ordeal (stuff like Finland leaf raking fires away) and I think I hit on a good one. He should declare Antarctica a US territory. He could say we've made the biggest investment in the region and it's time for the world to pay us back for all the money we've spent. I mean, a whole new continent just for us. It's the perfect level of insanity. It fits Trump's kind of logic and sense of entitlement. He could also threaten to kick out any foreigners from our properties there, which would have the side benefit of hurting climate change research.

Trey Gowdy wants info on Ivanka and the emails before the end of the year. I assume it is to exonerate her in full before a dirty demoncrat gets in office, but still a little something something.

Thd story is a typical administration mess. Seems like he just djd his disclosure, then revised it a bunch of times. Coulx be sloppy rushed reporting. Might have been funneled through a nonprofit organization in the past.

Valadao is going to lose in CA 21.

40 seat gain for Dems with still two or three to be decided.

Sad the cable news people said no wave at 7:30 on election night and that was the foundational narrative.
